The Urban Climate Resilience & Green Skills Innovation Hub is transforming communities through climate action, environmental education and sustainable livelihoods. Based at Outreach Foundation and expanding to schools and communities in Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga, the Hub demonstrates renewable energy, hydroponics, aquaponics, composting and climate-smart agriculture. It equips learners, youth and vulnerable communities with practical green skills, strengthens food security and creates living classrooms where sustainable solutions are learned, shared and replicated for future generations.
We are a non-profit organisation focus on Early Childhood Development Education , we educate, care, support and feed children. Our project is to renovate and extend our classrooms as we increased the number of enrolment in our centre , Department of Education and Health Department have their rules and regulation that needs to followed by all ECD Centre in South Africa so that why we need to fundraise for our Project
The campaign sterms from YAWA Foundation participants who are in a book challenge named 12 months 12 books challenge, inspired by the overwhelming number of students who read without comprehension in South Africa, these students in the 8 months period had faced difficulties in getting access to books to read, through their community library and schools libraries. Inspite of all this they have developed a love of reading and they want to share it with preschoolers in the month of Picture Book Month. These grades 6 till 9 students are determined to prove the stats wrong, will you help them achieve this goal?
